Yulemas stocking stuffers

 an American Tradition since 1967!!

Stockings are to Me the best part of Yulemas.
Since as far back into Childhood as I can remember,
The Stocking held such grand treats.
Pecan Rolls are the first Candy I remember getting.
Along with a tiny doll that was very popular.

I still remember my 13th Christmas Stocking....
it held my first MakeUp and Beauty Treats.

Now I try to make our Stockings just as Magical.

No matter what Trinkets I may put in them,
like Movies, Gift Cards, Calendars, Make Up Bags...
the Candy Treats pretty much stay the same.

Ice Cubes are awesome.
Along with the Chocolate Icicles.
When I can find them.
Alas, it isn't very often.

Since the Chocolate Orange
{WHAM! Unwrap and Eat}
first came out {of. the. BOX!}
our Stockings have been blessed with one every year.

This is a fairly recent addition in the past decade.
I just LoVe seeing Santa poking out of the top of the Stocking.

I discovered Botan Rice Candy with the Edible PaPer
from one of The Brother's Friends,
It was a tradition for Her MoM to put them in Her stocking.

and who can resist Toblerone?
well, I can't anyway.
These are the NiNjas of Yulemas Candy.
They have a way of disappearing if you blink...

This is definitely the most unique thing I put in the Stockings.
Odd, yet quite, Odd.
But Wonderful.

Here's to the Magic of Stockings and the Things they are Stuffed with...
Santa knew.

Silver

 nuff said.

sigh, I will again, one day, have The Mustang.

but for now:
let's satisfy that urge with these....
Holiday HoHo's
{like the cake treat but without the calories}

 Silver is just Wynter.
I've warmed to Gold/Red
but it's still Silver for Me.

Many Parties and Get~togethers,
Socializing and Sassiness,
 Fairy Lights...

 How Cheery is this, Darling?
 with rings on Her fingers...
Sparkle at your finger tips,
the perfect partner to those Fairy Lights.

I love this piece of art work...
it's beautiful
and soothing.
I have a thing for Silver Trees~

The Perfect Dress for a walk through
those Silver Trees...Magical.
This one just brings Me straight back to High School.
Wynters were just the best.
We felt so grown up, having parties, going to the clubs...

Because you can't have too much Hot Beverages
for the Holidays...

moving on....
Stressed?
need a good Laugh?

we LOVE Dinosaurs at our house.
Me? since Land of the Lost, BayBee!
Here's a CooL t~shirt for those down for relaxation days..
to grab a bite with Friends at the Cafe,
with Jeans,
for a LoVeLy afternoon
of PaPerbacks, Pastries, and Tea
 Dinosaurs Rock!
{just keep ahead}

Here is my pick for my beloved Mary Janes...
My first thought when I say these was "ooh, Witchy...
double shazam, Wynter Witchy".
yep, no argument there, or here.
LoVe them.

Of course, to polish off any Holiday outfit,
a beautiful coat and Holiday Purse.

along with Metallic eyeliner
and frosty pink lipstick...
oh Cher' BeBe~

and to end on this Bright and Cheery note,
this embroidery.

Wynter White Forest Tree

Wynter White Yulemas Tree

Here is a smaller version of the Wooden Tiered Tree,
and all in White.

This version came much
closer to my Vision,
than the first one,
and had Me eager
to make many more!

The Tree is 9 inches tall, and I started with 7 inch slats up to 2 inch.

Diamond Dust Glass GLiTTeR
was applied very liberally,
I tried making the branches look like
they had Sneaux piled on them.

Using Clear, Silver, and White Findings,
I made an assortment of
Ornaments and Decorations.
Candles also.

I placed small mirror glass tiles around the bottom for the Ice.

I really like the look of the plain wood against all that White.

I'm making a few more of these to give as gifts this year.

my poor candle light picture...fail!

Revamping Ornaments, Vintage or Otherwise

When I think of childhood holiday ornaments,
I can't think of one where GLiTTeR isn't part of it.
So, Sparkle Addiction is a childhood manifestation.
My poor little Angels were looking a bit wonky,
so I jassed them Up.

How can a Cherub be a proper Cherub without
the proper amount of GLiTTeR??

The only dilemma is,
how much,
who much,
that much.

I used Mod Podge and brushed it on
where ever I wanted to renew the Sparkle.

One I covered just the Fancy parts.
Two was covered more all over than not.
Three was just whip GLiTTeRed:
mod podge, whip of glitter to fall where it may, minimally.

Let dry.

Now there's a proper Cherub.

Priscilla says,  mmm~hmmm.

Priscilla's Earthly Delights

What makes this the most special treat?
It was given to me by a friend who is forEVER
revamping,
redecorating,
and re~everything His apartment.
and Lucky Me! I'm usually the recipient of his generousity.

I've been a fan of flokati rugs since childhood.
Must be the Turk in Me.
I've always envisioned a wall to wall flokati that would
give the feeling of sleeping on a cloud.
Not to mention, like walking on Meringue...
minus the whole actual sticky mess, of course.
Priscilla says: not in Her heels!

Guess who didn't want his anymore?  yeah, Cher'...Him.
And now that the CooLer  weather is here,
and with our house being a slab house,
the Flokati is quite Wonderful.
I told The Chook Man that I swear it's even made our bed softer!
shyeah, I mean it!

The most obvious downfall is the white.

meh, I'll deal.

So, thank you Detlev my ocd artist self~interior designer.
Say, is that a new order from Ikea???
