Space Rock Crystals...

ok, not Space Rock,
but definitely Crystals.
Sort of.

For Yulemas last year,
the little Womb Wookies each received
a Crystal growing kit.

Many moOns later,
we broke open the box
in our Secret Lab,
put on GoGGLes,
and proceeded to be
Scientist on a miSSion
{non!moOn}

Only the Yellow
{which is appropriately this month's color}
actually had success.

The Blue and Green, alas, were a flop.
sort of.
They tumbled.
The Womb Wookies had fun,
that being the most important thing!

Next, we'll try Rocket's Rock Candy....edible too!

Priscilla's Earthly Delights..

People know Me by my Hair,
My Scent ~ {Patchouli!}
My sayings~ Iiiiii feel Saaaauy~ceh!

I have found jewelry that says that.
Being a new fan of Sarah Coventry,
this is my first set, but my favorite.

Saucy by Sarah Coventry.

I had originally been looking for the brooch.
I fell in LOVE with it's Uniqueness.
That whole sideways, with a tassel, thing
reminded Me of my Why Be Normal sticker
that I would place upside down on my car.
Attitude.
Then, in my search, I discovered EARRINGS.
A Set.
And it wouldn't cost me an arm, or a leg.
Which of course, wouldn't stop me from wearing them,
for those body parts would still be there

All is well.

Two SiSters Mary Thoughts for the Day ~ June

"If a June night could talk,
it would probabLy boast
that it invented RoManCe."
~Bern WiLLiams

How did it get so late so soon?
Its night before its afternoon.
December is here before its June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.
How did it get so late so soon?

ChiLLBots Ice Trays

 They're heeerrrrre.
Chill Bots....the ultimate in Robotic Iceness.
I purchased mine through Amazon, new, for $5.50 each,
where I basically got buy one get one free,
since most of them run about $11/12 each.

Which is Blue Star terrific.
Now I have one for the Womb Wookies,
for trivials such as Kool Aid Robot PoPs.
And one for Moi, to resinate.
Just have to figure out
how to make a mold for a mold to mold kind of thing.
If I use the wrong resin, it will forever be stuck.

For now, the Womb Wookies are thoroughly enjoying Robot bits in their drinks.
Crunchy yumminess.

Two things to watch for:

*We had trouble getting the whole Robot out.
The Hands and Legs tend to break.
I am not sure if this is a permanent thing or if my ice wasn't solid enough.

*BEFORE pouring liquid into ice tray,
place the ice tray on a solid flat surface {ex: small cookie sheet}
that will fit in your freezer.
Make sure you've got a placed cleared in the freezer before hand.
The ice tray is hella wobbly.

Now, go have some Fun!

Guggen I'm Lime by Finger Paints

I'm not normally a Green girl....
In the last few years though, I've been finding my Self
drawn to Bright, Happy Greens.
This is the only Green polish I have bought
{well, besides the Dark Green in the Yulemas set}
and I LOVE IT!

Whether you're an Alien Princess dancing among the Stars,
Or a Goddess Wood Nymph running naked through the woOds,
this is the Green for You.

The coverage is decent, 2 to 3 coats.
I've always gotten a fair run out of Finger Paints Polish.

It also has the most subtle of GLiTTeRRy in it,
just enough to make it ShiMMer.

Brings a schmile to your Toes~

June ~ Gemini the Twins

 "Do I contradict myself?
Very well, then I contradict myself,
I am large, I contain multitudes."
~Walt Whitman

 Gemini

 Yellow ~ Coldplay

Woods or Waves???
Either way,
make any Holiday a Happy one
with this chEEry bag!

For those really Hott Days
or those really Hott nights...
{and I'm not necessarily talking about heat outside}

This would make a great TaTToo

Golden hues of
Yellow really do add a touch of Bright and Shiny.

This style of Mary Jane is most appealing to Me.
Low Heels and Big Buckles.

Can't decide what to make? Make em both!
Chocolate in one,
Cheesecake in the other....

Where the hell is my Time Machine?
I LOVE Yellow!
And I wish these pieces were Mine.
Allllll Mine....
omg, like, look how totally Happy the room is!
I already have the song list picked out.

Robot Journals

Summer time is a fantastic time to get The Kiddos into Journaling.
These Robot Journals are a fun way to do that.

Add a box of CoLoRed Pencils to really kick  it up.
Especially for the Young Wones,
who may find it easier to draw Their daily entry.

Keeping the entries short for the Older Wones.
helps hold their interest.
Besides,
they just loOk CooL.

PLus! it's just hella Fun~

With your fave Ear Pods firmly embedded in your brain,

My "VinTaGe" Art....or work i've done in the past

I love Tarot Card art.
Many of the decks I own,
I bought just for the Art Work.

Here's my attempt to use The Cards
to continue work on the Human Form.
Since I've been looking back at my art,
I've noticed this same blue/green thing going on,
which is odd,
because I don't really like that look.
Today, I'm working on breaking out of that.
This is about the time I started using Metallics in my work.
I still Love working with Metallics.

I could see redoing this on a bigger, tighter composition.
Rougher, more realistic, less cookie cutter.
cause Practice makes Perfect.

Wah wah waah.....

ok, my computer is being a DRAG!!!!
and not like a Queen!

It's taking me an exorbitant amount time to get one post done.
And I have many~
so I suppose this weekend I'll have to get this thingy
changed out with that thing a ma bob,
and put this in where that came out....

and then, hopefully,
I can load pictures faster than 3 a decade!
Bear with Me,
I miss you too.

My FaVoRiTe tOOLs ~ Shape Stencils

These handy dandy Stencils!

 I mean it too.
It is absolutely HELL to try and work a project
and not have the RIGHT SIZE of Whatever.

For I, it is usually the coordinating size of the Embeddment
to the Bezel I'm using.
You'd think it would be simple.
Oh so simple, not.
No matter what I did I could not get the correct sizing.
Tracing, gueSSing, making mocks;

My Resi~tation is always thrown off it's grOove Tracks
because of this persistant annoyance...

Not anymore.

I stolt borrowed these two Stencils from The Mother's Office.

Oh the simple joys.

No more crOoked lines and woBbLy edGes.
I can have LoVeLy CirCLes instead of eggs.
I can have Solid Squares instead of that, geometry thing..

I can get a cleaner, more precise line for
PaPer and CLay cut outs.
I could collect Circle Punches, but in the interest of price and space,
these Stencils are perfect for Me.

Space Invaders

It's that time again~
time to get Spaced!

Kids are out for Summer
Lightening bugs are here
It's the perfect time to
become one with the Universe!

Here, we are already in the 90*s with basically
a gazillion percent humidity.
Even though my kids play outside ALOT,

I still have them inside
at the hottest part of the Day.
More to keep them from coming
in and out, in and out, in and out,
while taking with them,
the piss bit of warm fluff called the a/c....
I digress.

Beam Me Up, Scotty....

These are the perfect times
to watch Movies,
Crafts,
and if you can get it in early enough, baking.
Thanks to all the available services out there,
paid and unpaid, it's alllll gOod.

THE LIBRARY!
is THE most excellent place for SuMMeR.
Not only do they have a host of things happening,
they have movies, and books, and stuff.
Robots and Space Invaders and Stars
are no Strangers to the Library.

*Star Trek!ORIGINAL!{Please, start them out properly!}
*Star Wars
*The Iron Giant
*Lost in Space
*Cocoon
*Close Encounters of the Third Kind
*ET

and of course,
how could we not mention Pigs in Space????
Better yet,
Star Wars guest stars
on Pigs in Space
.........bOoYah!

I HIGHLY recommend
Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator
as a June read.
Yes, it is a Space journey.
Wonderful.

Crafts~
Paper Mache' or Felt anything:
Stars, Robots, Space ships.
Turn it into a pinata for parties.

If you're lucky enough to have an Observatory close
to your abode, take advantage.
It's so CooL.

Even though it's only been
192 hours and 15 mins and 8 secs
since "vacation" began, don't fret.
There's plenty to do.
A whole Universe worth.
