March FuLL moOn ~ Notions, Potions, & a bit of Magic with Whale

seaman's drawing sperm whale circa 1810

 Notion:
*************
Now that we've awoken from the Wynter sSLeeP,
and had a little bit of Fun`tyme Fun`tyme to reJuVeNate,
it's time for a little Fine Tuning.

Whale reintroduces us to our creative and intuitive energies
to show us a talent we've forgotten about
or haven't been aware existed.
Whales energy helps you to  understand
the ancient language of "energy vibrations,"
and are able to distinguish
where others are truly coming from.
Gut Intuition.

Whale asks us to recall our past
 and listen to its stories
so we can creatively heal old wounds.

 Potion:
*************
*a handfulle of Sea SaLt
*the Bath
*BLuE candles
*{any} White flowers ~ I like Magnolia
*Whale songs if possible,
if not, something slow and soothing
 *PaPer and Pen

a bit of Magic:
*************
Work with Whale
to hone your instincts for whats best for You,
and help You to tune into the vibes
and intuitive energies that will do this.

Whale reintroduces us to our creative and intuitive energies
to show us a talent we've forgotten about or haven't been aware existed.
People with this totem are able to understand
the ancient language of "energy vibrations,"
and are able to distinguish where others are truly coming from.
Whale asks us to recall our past and listen
to its stories so we can creatively heal old wounds.

As you soak down into the Water, silently call to Whale.
Ask Whale to help show you,
how to reconnect to your Inner Energies and intuition.
tune into the vibrations.

If the vibrations aren't right you'll know,
as you'll know when they are right.
There are uncomfortable vibes
and really groovy ones;
apply accordingly.
you know the saying...."i had a feeling."

Visualize your Self deep below in the deep Blue.
Yes, you can breathe!
Along comes Whale,
with it's slow, steady, swim;
with it's Song.
A slow, beautiful,
meditative musical of breathing;
a calling to those EnErgies
you need for Intuition and Guidance.

Tag along, hang on, and know
that Whale protects you from any harm.
Look about you.
What do you see?
 What do you hear?

Feel the powerful vibrations from WhaLe.
This is your tuning fork.

Relax and let the vibrations align
with you. If any feel uncomfortable,
breathe through it.
Your fine tuning.

Soon the vibrations stop
and a sense of peace,
yet heightened energy
fills you.

This is your Guidance,
your Intuition.

WhaLe begins to show you a piece of your History.
It could be from an Ancient Ancestor,
it could be from Your Self.
Remember so you can write it down
and see what it means later.

When it is time to say good Bye,
thank WhaLe as it swims off
and become aware of your breathing.

Concentrate on your breathing and let
each breath bring you closer to awake.

Once you are fully awake,
write down everything you can remember.
Don't forget to date it.

Take the Gifts that
WhaLe has given you
and go forth.
Allll aboard, the GrOOve~train!

January FuLL moOn ~ Notions, Potions, & a bit of Magic with Bear

Notion:
January sees PeoPLe setting
restriction and guilt inspired resolutions
that bind Us through the year.
This is the perfect time to ease
those prisonal vibes,
get out the CaVe,
set realistic goals
and have some Fun
along with the Responsibility.

Bear teaches us to respect
our natural hibernation cycles.
Just as Bear rests during Wynter
 and reawakens during Spring,
we need spaces of Rest and Rejuvenation.
Now is the time to Rejuvenate.

Bear calls us to awaken the potential
within ourselves and
the power of our unconscious mind.
Bear reminds us there is a time
for playfulness and a time to be assertive.

Full moOn baths are the simplest, loveliest,
and round~all way to work a bit of Magic.
White is your round~all CoLoR
and is best for cleansing and realignment.

Full moon to new moon ~ waning ~ getting smaller}
You want to make the binds and obstacles
disappear, to shrink and fall away, allowing
the Energy to flow freely.

Potion
*************
Sea Salt
White Candle{s}
draw a Bath
Soft Tunes: New Agey, Nature, Harvest, etc.
plus a good imagination,
your going to visit Bear.

a bit of Magic:
*************
On this FuLL mOon night,
prepare a cleansing Salt bath.
Fill your bath with warm water,
and sprinkle 1/2 cup Sea Salt,
swish to dissolve.
Light the Candle{s}.
Start music.

As you relax, slow your breathing
to nice steady pace.
You want to go through
the MediTaTion
with the similar pace of
reading a book to a child.

Visualize your Self in a CaVe.
Next to you is Sleeping Bear
It's dark, and quiet,
no fear,
just the steady breathing of YoU and BeAr.

One by one,
Candles light throughout the CaVe.
The soft scent of Honey is in the air
as the Candles burn.
Slowly, Bear rouses and awakens.

There is no fear.

as Bear awakens,
feel the rejuvenating
EnErgy as you bond.

Hear the Music.

Bear gets up and begins to Dance.
You dance with him/her.

Feel the joy and let this energy
banish the Wyntery Doldrums
and tiredness,
let it kick start your
Mind and Heart and Soul.

Wind down the dancing,
and sit with Bear a moment.
Now is the to let that energy
shine through
and iLLuMiNaTe your way.

Set your goal or goals
and know that with BeArs help
you can attain your goal
with hard work and responsibility,
like a BeAr who works at getting Honey.
By knowing when to move forward and when to rest.
They are both essential in desires coming to fruition.

Winter came down to our home one night
Quietly pirouetting in on silvery-toed slippers of snow,

FuLL mOOn ~ November ~ Beaver Moon

My progress was rendered delightful
by the sylvan elegance of the groves,
cheerful meadows,
and high distant forests,
which in grand order presented themselves to view.
~ William Bartram

November's Full mOon is known as the Beaver mOon,
as this was the time to set the Beaver traps before freeze,
to ensure a supply of warm Wynter furs.

It may also be called this because this is also
the same time the Beaver is preparing for Wynter.

November's MoOn is also known as the Frosty Moon.
This name comes from the Northern Autumnal Ground Frost,
which glistens beautifully in Pale Moonlight.
Alchemy is the art of far and near,
and I think Poetry is Alchemy in that way.
It's Delightful to distort size,
to see something that's tiny as though it were vast.
~ Robert Morgan

Wynter's cold descends and outward growth slows. Make this a time for inner growth. This moon signals a time to slow down. The Earth is resting. It is a time to contemplate and tie up loose ends. Dress in black, purple, blue and other dark colours to honour the sleeping earth. Use purple candles and burn full moon incense (a mixture of anise, lavender and rosemary) or mugwort or patchouli. If your observance includes a feast, then include vegetables that grow beneath the ground, such as garlic, onions, potatoes.

FuLL mOOn ~ October ~ Hunter's mOOn

san*guine ~ {adjective}
1. cheerfully optimistic, hopeful, or confident;
a sanguine disposition.

Moon of many mOons..
Hunter's moon
Blood moon
Sanguine moon.

Hunter's Moon, or sometimes the Blood Moon,
gets it's name from Hunters
who tracked and killed their prey
by Autumn Moonlight,
stockpiling food for the Wynter ahead.
It's also a great time to give
thanks for the Animals and Plants
that died to allow the balance of nature to be maintained.

"Twilight, a timid fawn, went GLimmering by,
and Night, the dark~blue Hunter,
followed fast."
~ George William Russell

Sanguine moOn is yet another name
for this October moOn.
Cheery and red?
maybe we should call it Blush Moon.
Yeah we all shine on, like the moon, and the stars, and the sun.
John Lennon

Also at this time, the Veil between this World,
and the Underworld, is thinnest.

The Celts associated this moon with Protection, Prosperity, Healing.
Increase in Psychic Abilities and Fertility also.

"His sanguine Spirit turns every firefly into a Star."
~Arthur Conan Doyle

Spend some time reflecting on this moon tonight;
think about how we are a part of the natural cycles.
How this is a time of inner cleansing to make way
for the justice of karma;
a time for moving beyond sacrifice to seek renewal.
Reflect on the sacrifices you have made this year;
they will nurture and fortify your spirit through the coming darkness and cold.

Then again,  nothing like a quick dash through the woods naked
under a full moon to lift the Spirits!

a red iron-oxide crayon used in making drawings.

Zoë: You sanguine about the kinda reception we're apt to receive on an Alliance ship, Captain?
Mal: Absolutely. What's "sanguine" mean?
Zoë: Sanguine. Hopeful. Plus, point of interest, it also means "bloody".
Mal: Well, that pretty much covers all the options, don't it?
