MoOn pLate....

what a wonderful full moon project

This is one of my all time favorite things to make.

Supplies:

*************

Clear glass plate

Contact paper

Marker

X ~ acto knife, new blade

Glass etch

Frosted Glass paint

Plate holder

Tea light candle

Wash and Dry the plate.

Cover the inside of the plate with your Contact Paper.

Using the marker, trace the face.

Take the X~acto knife and cut out the pieces

{the unfrosted spaces are where the contact paper stayed on}

Gloop on the glass etch and let sit for correct amount of time

{see your glass etch instructions}

Wash off thoroughly and let dry.

Test a small edge or corner to make sure etch took.

I've done a second coat before.

Once this is done, and you've rewashed/dried,

peel the contact paper off.

You can then use the Glass Frosting paint to spruce up the etch,

like around the cheeks, chin, eyes..

Once the MoOn Plate is finished,

set on plate holder,

light tea candle,

and

Enjoy~

Orange

Orange is a color that smells like it sounds, and looks....

Way before any one else was using it, I had a bright orange wall.

I used my black and white art work, and a kit kat clock to decorate said orange wall.

Everybody oooh'd and ahhh'd.

It was great.

Orange was Tang when I was a kid

Now, My oranges come chocolate shaped!

Orange muffins are lovely packed for a hike in the woods.

{I was totally smackers for Otis Spunkmeyer's Orange Muffins; can't find them anymore}

Orange is both Yulemas and Summer both.

I want to open an Art GaLLery and call it "TAnGeRiNe".... yep.

This bag takes me back to late elementary/ middle school/ high school when I was forever making bags out of old jeans or fabric place mats!

I think Corduroy is CooL.

Mine would be so full of stuff it was amazing I could find anything

Quirky and Whimsical!

I was raised on tea, and being Turkish Tea,

it was and is a MiNi~Production*of*an~AFternoon~Holiday.

Cheese, bread, olives, sour cherry preserves.

If it was summer, there was VERY fresh fruits and vegetables

These pieces are all that wrapped into one....Be One.

I'm not sure about the price on this, but it is a lovely set.

would be perfect for a small cup of hot chocolate before bed.

Everything about this is super....

Its the perfect piece to wear for an outside dinner

with The Chuck Man, downtown, at one of our top eateries.

I'm especially fond of that wide band across the top.

I'm especially fond of the fact that it's a Wraparound skirt.

Blue

I know that PeoPLe are just completely exhausted of Wynter.

and Rain.

and more Wynter....

and Rain.

I find the softness of BaBy Blue to brighten up both.

ChEErs me right up!~

While stuck inside on another drizzly cold day,

I use my Rainbow~laser Million Dollar Man EyE to infuse this bright color into my gray world..

and boost my haPPiness.

Its time for the next round of Treats~for~the~Wishlist!!

Just about everyone I'm talking to or reading about all have Spring and Gardening on the brain waves. Me included! This fabric flower does double time. Flowers in blue.....and a lot cleaner than digging in the dirt your self.

How about something for the Little PoPsicles to play with? These CooL looking wooden "ice" blocks. Mine would have 50 foot Barbie women stomping on Indy Leggos, on an adventure that They have melded together.

This blue glass makes me want to grab the last of the PaPerwhites and display them in it.
Beautiful, Me thinks.

I know so many PeoPLe who are knitting and crocheting. I want to move beyond the basic stitch at some point. What a tease this yarn is! I can only imagine the delicates made with this.

And speaking of knitting and crocheting, these ooh~la~la gloves are Divine.

You know I LoVe my Mary Janes. I can totally dig these. Perfect for those everyday, maybe have to run an errand~shoes. With a pair of flowy pants
and a nice fitting t~shirt, ...clean and casual.

Pink

A Cold and Grey day,

The Sugar Plums get an unexpected day off of school

because it was "supposed" to Ice and Sneaux,

and, No Surprise here ~behind Schedule.

So what to do for some chEEring Up?!

Why, Treats~for~My~WishList~ShoPPing! of course.

and Thanks to the World Wide Web,

I can do it from Home

while siTTing on My Bum and drinking CoFFee.

and what CoLoR do I chOOse?

Pink!

Not only does it go well with Grey,

but darling! its so chEEry....

One (of the Many!) reasons, I want to learn to crochet better,

and also knit, is SLiPPer Socks!

I wear Them constantly,

I go through Them like most PeoPLe go through Their cell phone minutes.

These Dark Pink Mary Janes are right up there on my Cozy Factor Standards.

I Love everything about the Look of them.

I really liked the simple design of this belt but the color sets it.
