Happy Anniversary to The Chook Man and I

 Hello, Lover.

Last year was the great Vegas road tripp to renew our vows with Elvis.

This year we headed to New Orleans; our  fave place to get away,
for a few days of {fill in the blank}

We resided at Lamothe house {SiSter house to The Frenchmen}.
where We stayed on our honeymoon.

It was a GORGEOUS!!! weekend in NOLA.
It felt like October.
Apparently,  to my best guess,
most of the World had been there last weekend for Jazz Fest,
which left the town quiet and easy.

Lamothe {and The Frenchmen a block away}
are within walking distance of pretty much everything.
The French Market is right there,
Envie, our favorite coffee shop,
LOADS of Restaurants.

We were really excited about Treasure Hunting
but alas, these shopkeepers have lost their minds
with the pricing guns!

Didn't stop our fun!
Here's to
Lazy Days of Love.

It's Friday the 13th...gotta get the Special Undies out!

Kismet Lucky 13
I LoVe Friday the 13th.
It's a great day in Kelly's Frontier.
and Fun.

Happy Anniversary to The Chook Man

MGM / Hollywood Studios

MGM now known as Disney's Hollywood Studios
{Universal is still a separate entity}
is small and mostly shopping and restaurants.
We went for the Indiana Jones show
The Muppets 3 D Theater
and
The Star Wars ride.
No Star Wars ride.
They are changing it up or something.

ABC Commissary ~ recommend for Lunch/Dinner
The Fish plate was really good.

Indiana and Marion doing their thing.
The Womb Weebles really had a "blast" at this show.

This is the only reason I came to this park.
The freakin Muppets!
{no flash photography please}

Funnel Cake ~ a piece of Heaven right there in your lap...
on your lap,
your clothes,
your face
your hair...
I knew the minute we entered the park,
that this was how I was going to end my day.
and I did.

disney World Magic Kingdom

Great fantastical Tripp.

We started to the left,
and didn't finish til we were right.
We  felt the best time was in late afternoon
and close the park down at Midnight.
The crowds are most definitely heaviest from 11:30 to about 3 or 4pm.
Add the battle between the Strollers and Electric scooters,
and it can get pretty hectic.

Fast Pass really is worth it.
It allows you to "reserve" a space in line
by giving you a choice between two times to come back.
And you get in the really really short line.
While waiting, you can go do other things.
You can only do one fast pass at a time.

If you do get there for breakfast,
I recommend the Main Street Bakery.

Pecos' Bill's restaurant recommended  for lunch or dinner~
great food, decent prices
I wouldn't recommend going on the
Big Thunder Mountain runaway train ride after
 Before...allll you want to.

Hidden residents of Magic Kingdom

Who wouldn't want to live in the Robinson tree house??

She wore her Pirate shirt for the Pirate ride.
He was just along for the ride...

 Many many parades.....many.

Are we there yet??

Park Supplies Backpack

These small backpacks are PERFECT for Park Tripps.

Mary PoPPins had it going on!

If she were here today she'd be a hippie! with a backpack}

Packing

 Road Tripp Traveling Fun~time Bagg

Usually for Road Tripps, I go all out,
even buying full out new makeup, beauty stuff, etc.
This trip we went the opposite. For the most part.

We shall call it Mickey&Minnie Minimal.
Srsly.

I treated this like a backpacking packing.

Grey Faux Wrap dress from Target; It wears MUCH prettier!

After Yulemas, I decided to get more serious
about paying off some of our bills,
and decided that I would only use what I have.
No buying unless I run out, or its a special day.
And I only brought the basics.
1 lipstick, 1 mascara, 2 eyeliner, 1 nail polish, eyedrops, chapstick

This little ensemble is perfect for road tripps

Plus, it's roomy enough for a few extras.

You know those bubble baths, and shower gels and odd bath pearls that you get for gifts,
most prolific during Holiday Gift Giving???
These are perfect for these kinds of Holiday.
Better than the hotel stuff, but not your really good stuff...
You can still be a Queen Priscilla without giving up the pamp.
It's a Holiday, Holidays are to pampering, as Priscilla is to GLiTTeR

This is one The Girl Child has

Each of us had a small suitcase, you know, the overhead bin suitcase.
It was perfect,
Nobody was in need of anything

Womb Weebles suitcases

Half or more of our Road Tripps
have the Womb Weebles with Us.
We really do have fun as a family on these trips.

This time around, it's The Kids turn to
get new luggage.
Again, Target was the place.

The NiNja Cupcake is like her Womb Mother
{ha! I did!}
She likes the Faun~cee stuff
and went with the Girly Floral.

The Blu Man, whom is like his
1/8 enlarged scale model,
went for the Plain Blue Boy.

The bonus were these great matching Messenger bags.
With all kinds of nooks and pockets,
it had the power to make a reallllly long trip
into a pleasant, busy one!

The insides were your typical zippered net.
The rolling cases are overhead bin ready,
adjustable pull out handle,
and wheels.

Makes any Kid, a Big Kid
ready to take on the World.
and besides,
They LoVed em~
