Navitas Naturals Cacoa Paste

I happened upon
this luscious block of chocolate
while we were shopping in Whole Paychecks,
I mean Whole Foods.
I immediately pounced on it.
My fabo favo yogurt in the World
{intheWORLD, Craig! not just the city, theWORLD}
is Wallaby Down Under Dark Chocolate! LOVE it!
and I can prove how much I LoVe it
by how much I consume...
hey, it's better than a stack of Oreos!
At a little over a dollar a container,
it can get kind of expensive.
Unfortunately, they don't make a big container.
Also, Whole Foods tends to run
 out of it quite quickly.
After reading the ingredients,
I cyber~searched and found out
that the paste is basically
the liqueur in solid form.

Hence,
you see the Tigger~ish excitement
over finding it.
Copper bought it for me as a treat.

I bought a container of
Wallaby's regular yogurt
to experiment with.
Really looking forward to that.
There is also a bunch
of recipes on Navitas' site.
YumYum.
I'm also excited
about the Beauty aspects of this cacoa.
Talk about finding your Happy...

the WaFFLe MaKer....

 or how to save almost $3 bucks per box of Eggos.

My Blu man LOVEs the Waffles.
Thanks to the explosive hiking the prices of food we need,
I've really been watching the Groceries with a tight eye.
A box of 10 Eggo Waffles went from approximately $1.47 to $2.67.
After taxes, you might as well say, $3.00 a box.
That's way to much.
So, we bought a waffle iron.
For $10 we bought the cheapo iron.
Pankcake/Waffle mix is about $3 a box.
We test ran the Iron today.
BriLLianT!!

It takes approx 5 mins to whisk up a bowl of fresh batter.
You can make it the night before
and put the batter in the fridge
for the next morning,
or go ahead and griddle up
the whole batch and freeze the overage
{Thank you Ms. Betty for that tip!}

It took a few WaFFLes to get my fillage right!

Add Fresh blueberries, strawberries, and jams, jellies, and syrups {homemade is so rad!}
The possibilities are so varied, it will never get old.

Golden Perfection.
These were pretty decent WaFFLes.  More like a Pancake WaFFLe.
By going back to making things from scratch,
I am using more of my basic staples
and not wasting so much from non use.
The kids love the homecooked stuff,
and its making great memories for them, like it did for me.

Fresh Lemon Bath Salts

I LoVe Lemon,
{as if you didn't know that by now!}
Everything about it:
The CoLoR
The Scent
The TasTe

I also am verra fond of Bath products.
Making and Using them.

This go round,
I went the Fresh route.

Things Needed:
*************
*1 Big Lemon, fresh but not cheeky
*Sea Salt
*Really Nice Jar {with firm closing lid/top}
*************

Using my Mandolin Slicer
[at the widest setting]
I cut 1 Lemon into these beautiful, lovely slices...

Place a layer of Sea Salt at the bottom or your Jar.
About 1/2 to 1 inch.
Place a layer of Lemon Slices on top of that.
When placing your layers of Salt on top of the Lemons
make sure the Salt is firmly packed to cover the wedges.

Continue til you reach the top.

Seeing as it is Fresh ingredients,
I would use as soon as possible.

When you add the Salt to your bath,
throw in a couple of the Slices as well;
discard after use.

Wait til you get a scent`full~
Your Happy will tingle.
