Our whole family LOVEs vintage movies.
We are big fans of Don Knots, Abbot and Costello,Danny Kaye...

Two movies in particular are absolutely great favorites:

These vintage movies are just cracker jack.

The Blu man gets kicks out of any kind of slapstick comedy,

The Lolly Babe gets the whole experience,

I like the clothes,

The Chook Man likes the main actors..

It's a Family Affair!

The Bonus of course, is that The Kiddos will grow up with

a really cool sense of history and a wide

variety of tastes and knowledge.

Hopefully with an Appreciation and Uniqueness which will bring enjoyment to them.

Yulemas EvE Celebratories with Muppest Christmas Carol and Fantasia

Yulemas EvE finds us, the Parental Units, just as excited as the Sugar Plums are.

Its showers, 

and setting out cookies, and carrots, 

and snuggling up to watch the Muppet's Christmas Carol 

and then drifting off with Disney's Fantasia,

while the lights on the tree mesmerize us into a deep wynter rainbow dream sleep.

After all, in the infamous words of Kermit Kringle, after all, there's only one more sleep til christmas.....

I"m too excited to sleep!

Friday After Next

Had a not so great day? Holiday Hectic getting on Your nerves? Need a good laugh?

Definitely one for when the sugar plums are down for the night.

The third movie in the Friday series, in my humble onion, its the fuNNiest.
This time around, Craig and De De get caught up in Holiday Hi~jinks that find Them being robbed by Santa, Starting a new job, Tackling Thieves and Church Ladies, and of course, hook up with the Females. All on Christmas Eve!
In the end, there's Christmas Spirit for All!

A Christmas Story

Aunt Clara had for years labored under the delusion that I was not only perpetually 4 years old, but also a girl.........

HAHAHAHAA!
Although My situation was a bit different; I was the one making the off the wall gifts for Family, like Colored Macaroni nOOdLe Necklaces and Potato Heads made from real potatoes and fruit pieces for the face!

I don't care how many years you've seen it,

it just isn't a traditional Yulemas without:

A Christmas Story.

It isn't.

There are so many quotes from this movie, You could have whole conversations through out the holidays just by saying Them!

 I actually saw this movie in a THEATER!

yep, sure did.

Now We can watch in the comfort of Our Home, 

complete with Roasted Chestnuts and Hot CoCoa.

We've talked about doing Holiday traveling, which, honestly, I would love to do about every third year, but anyhoo, I would love to bring the Family up to the actual house. One lucky Family won a bid on ebay,

to spend Christmas EvE and Christmas Day in the house.

Awesome!

(Charlie Brown Thanksgiving wins by a few points simply for the

Crazy~ass, Chaotic Family get togethers

The whole atmosphere! It really feels like Thanksgiving!

I am a BIG fan of 1967, therefore guiding me into learning what I can, when I can, all about 1967~
and Yet, I miSSed this. (sigh)

(Description)

Mad Monster Party is a fun stop-motion animation feature film by Jules Bass. He’s the same guy who brought us holiday favorites like “The Little Drummer Boy”, “Frosty The Snowman”, “Rudolph”, and “The Year Without A Santa Claus”, among many others! I was four years old when this film came out, but I don’t remember it! Featuring the voice talents of Boris Karloff (1931 Frankenstein), the film centers around his character Baron von Frankenstein and his retirement from the monster creating business. He’s just created an anti-matter potion that will destroy anything. As all of his colleagues receive invitations to his retirement party, all heck breaks loose as the plotting, planning, devising, and back-stabbing Dracula, Werewolf, The Mummy, The Monster, The Invisible Man, and many others seek to take over his mantle of leadership. They have one problem, the Baron’s nephew Felix, just an average guy who works as a store clerk! This is the guy that the Baron wants to take his place. That doesn’t sit too well with everybody! They've got to stop it from happening! This is a just for fun movie with some really classic animation and sculptures that is a blast from the past for all that remember it!
